Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 2026

1. What We Collect

We collect your Google account email address when you sign in, and we log the number of processing jobs you run each month for quota enforcement.

We do not collect, store, or back up the wearable data files you upload.

2. File Handling

Uploaded files are read into memory for preprocessing and deleted from our servers immediately upon completion. We do not retain copies of your health data in any form.

Result files are deleted from our servers immediately after your download link is generated. Download links expire after 5 minutes.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Email address — to identify your account and enforce usage limits.
  • Usage counts — to apply Free / Pro plan quotas and prevent abuse.
  • Feedback messages — if you voluntarily submit feedback, we store the message and your email to respond.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — authentication and usage storage (EU/US region).
  • AWS S3 — temporary file storage, deleted on processing completion.
  • Paddle — payment processing (Merchant of Record). Payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment data.

5. Data Retention

Account data (email, usage count) is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at pulsecleanio@gmail.com.

6. IRB & Clinical Research

PulseClean is designed to comply with typical IRB data handling requirements through zero file retention. However, you are responsible for confirming compliance with your specific institution's policies before use.
